PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists Day Habilitation Program Director, Managers, RN and /or Coordinator of Operations in general office procedures, record keeping, data entry, communications and purchasing


Executive Director



The Arc of Yates is seeking an Executive Director to lead the diverse programs it offers to more than 400 individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities (IDD) who depend on its residential, vocational, educational, day habilitation, transportation, and community support services.  The Executive Director, appointed by the Board of Directors, is the chief administrative officer and is responsible to the Board for the implementation of all policies, programs and services.  The mission, vision, and values of the Arc of Yates must be the driving force of the Executive Director’s leadership.  (S)he is key to the Board’s and leadership’s adaptation and operational response to changing systems of reimbursement.  Most importantly, the Executive Director must have a vision for providing premier support to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families amid a volatile service delivery landscape.

 

 


Residential Manager



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Residential; Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the IRA.  She/he supervises all Substitutes, Direct Support Professionals and Assistant Managers in the execution of their job duties, assuring all residents are encouraged and assisted to gain the skills necessary to live as independently as possible. 


Maintenance Specialist



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and repair all Agency facilities and grounds.  Substantial painting, landscaping and snow removal duties constitute the majority of duties for this position.
 


Direct Support Professional



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a resource and a support for adults with developmental disabilities as they assimilate into the Keuka College campus and explore their personal goals for the future as adult students.   This person is responsible for the implementation of individual Day Habilitation plans, and completing daily documentation that describes the services delivered. He/she is also responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of the D.R.I.V.E. students, and implementing planned group and individual activities that assist each individual to achieve their valued outcomes.


Residential Direct Support Professional



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides instruction, support, guidance, and supervision for adults with Developmental Disabilities living in the residence.  The DSP assists individuals to become integrated into his/her community according to their personal goals, preferences, and needs.  The DSP is a member of a team of service providers who work cooperatively for the individual. 


Customized Employment Coordinator



The Customized Employment Coordinator develops and monitors all services and program specific requirements for consumers who are accessing facility and/or college/community based employment services.  The Customized Employment Coordinator insures that all documentation is in place, the service reporting requirements are met, and supports individuals in their working environment to facilitate growth as well as to model exemplary workplace behavior.  The Customized Employment process is a flexible blend of strategies, services, and supports designed to increase employment options for job seekers with complex needs through voluntary negotiation of the employment relationship with an employer. The Customized Employment process begins with an exploration phase, which lays the foundation for employment planning. Planning results in a blueprint for the job search where an employment relationship is negotiated to meet the needs of both the job seeker and the employer.

Substitute



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Substitutes provide supervision, support, guidance, and training, to all individuals supported by the Arc of Yates, enabling them to live and participate in the community according to their personal goals, preferences, and needs.


Direct Support Professional

Temporary Classroom Aide



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the guidance of the supervising classroom teacher and therapists, assists in providing direct and indirect special education and therapy services to preschool children with disabilities.
 


Accountant



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Assist the CFO, Senior Accountant, A/R and A/P Accountants in maintaining the integrity of Agency financial and payroll systems. 


Service Coordinator



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Service Coordinator will assist consumers in the development of an individualized plan of service, which will provide for the necessary supports and services that enable and empower the consumer in achieving his/her stated valued outcomes. The Service Coordinator monitors all supports and services.  The Service Coordinator ensures that individuals benefit from all services received both within and outside the Agency.  The Service Coordinator ensures that all file documentation is in place.


Vehicle Operator



PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Charged with the timely pick-up and delivery of Arc of Yates program participants and contract services passengers, assuring their safety and providing the necessary supervision and/or direction in order to ensure this.  Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain and protect the individual rights of passengers.
