The Arc of Yates holds open interviews for Direct Support Staff every Tuesday from 9:00AM to 1:00PM at 240 North Avenue, Penn Yan, NY 14527 for full-time, part-time and substitute positions. Direct Support Staff provide instruction, support, and guidance to adults with differing abilities. Please bring a current resume and a completed application for employment (available below).

Center for Lifelong Learning Direct Support Professional ($10.00/hour)

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) plans group and individual activities that assist each person to achieve their valued outcomes. He/She implements individual Day Habilitation plans and completes daily documentation. The DSP facilitates the development of relationships between individuals and members of the community.

Special Education Teacher - Keuka Lake School   

 The special education teacher is responsible for the education of the children’s goals as identified on their individual educational plan. The teacher is the team leader and coordinator for the child’s program, including lesson plans, conducting team meetings and completing required paperwork.

Direct Support Professional - Residential     ($12.00/hour)

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides instruction, support, guidance, and supervision for adults with Developmental Disabilities living in the residence. The DSP assists individuals to become integrated into his/her community according to their personal goals, preferences, and needs. The DSP is a member of a team of service providers who work cooperatively for the individual.

Medical Coordinator- Community Support Services  ($12.00/hour)

 

The Community Medical Coordinator provides education, instruction, direct services, and

supports that promote independence, individual choice, health and safety that empower and enable individuals to achieve their stated goals and to live as optimally as possible.

Agency Registered Nurse - Part Time     ($22.60-$25.48 per hour)

The part time nurse is responsible for the training of all medical mandatory trainings and to provide observations to MAT certified employees. Assist with policy development and procedures.

IT Administrator    ($53,000- $58,000)

 The IT Administrator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Agency’s IT infrastructure, systems, and resources, including helpdesk support, computer and server upgrades, software and hardware purchases, network, email and telephone system maintenance, and vendor agreements. The IT Administrator effectively manages and deploys IT resources to support the Agency’s mission and vision, and proposes budgets for programs and projects, purchases and upgrades equipment, and presides over and/or advises leadership on IT-related projects. The IT Administrator ensures information assets and technologies are adequately secured.
