Arc of Yates Awarded Grant

The Arc of Yates received a grant in the amount of $3,000 from the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning.  The grant will allow the Agency to continue to develop its Greenspace Project, construction of which began earlier this year.  The two acre parcel, adjacent to the facilities 235 program center, was purchased in 2014 to complete flood mitigation and is being cleared to create a wheelchair accessible cinder trail...

The Arc of Yates hosted its annual Legacy Luncheon on Wednesday, October, 11th at La Cocina restaurant in Penn Yan.  Employees were celebrated for their ongoing dedication and support of the Agency’s mission.  Daniele Lyman-Torres, President and CEO remarked “These honorees, each with different roles within the Agency, have made a significant difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. Arc of Yates holds 3rd Annual Relay Rally

On September 24, 2017 the Arc of Yates held their 3rd annual Keuka Lake Relay Rally.  Runners from across the region participated in the 48 mile rally around the lake which began and ended at Keuka Lake State Park.  Unseasonably warm weather greeted the 100 plus participants who raised in excess of $28,000 to support the Agency’s programs and services...
