Step #1: Contact Us

Start by reaching out to our Intake Manager, Maggie Mahoney, at

Step #2: Care Coordination Selection

When we have answered all of your questions about the services offered through our agency, you will select your Care Coordination provider and let OPWDD and the providers know whom you have chosen.  We will help guide you with any additional questions or concerns you may have.

Step #3: Plan Development

With the assistance of your Care Coordinator, you will develop a plan to cover all your needs. The Arc of Yates is here to help meet you and your family's needs

April is Autism Awareness Month

Autism and Sensory Awareness

April is Autism Awareness Month

In recognition of Autism Awareness Month, the Arc of Yates will be hosting a series of presentations every Tuesday during the month of April.  Topics will include sensory awareness and structured teaching and guest panelists will facilitate question and answer sessions. The meetings, scheduled to be held at the Agency’s administrative office on Powell Lane, are free of charge and open to the public.

Tuesday, April 3rd 

6:30pm-7:30pm

A presentation on autism and sensory awareness will provide guests with techniques on how to provide support using sensory strategies.
