Tony Collins Foundation Awards $3,500 to Keuka Lake School

The 9th Annual Tony Collins Class of ’77 Celebrity Golf Classic Tournament was held on July 24, 2017 at Lakeside County Club in Penn Yan.  The event kicked off with a Celebrity Social, a community event that includes celebrity autographs, raffles and memorabilia sales.

In 2007, Collins, a former NFL player and Penn Yan Academy graduate started the Tony Collins Foundation with the vision of providing financial resources to area programs and organizations that empower disadvantaged youth to reach their full potential. The group is dedicated to the support of programs that inspire academic and athletic achievement in the youth of Penn Yan and the Finger Lakes region.  This year, the Foundation awarded Keuka Lake School, a program of the Arc of Yates, a check in the amount of $3,500 to support its programs and services.

Keuka Lake School is an early childhood program for children with developmental delays from birth to 5 years old. Services available for children with disabilities include special education, speech, occupational and physical therapy.  A regional provider of quality daycare services that employs only certified staff, the school offers daycare for children from 18 months to 12 years of age.  Contact Heather Slentz and 315-694-7676 to inquire about flexible schedules and reasonable rates.
