Family Care
Family Care (FC) Services is a licensed residential program providing a structured and stable home environment within a family unit. Family Care Providers receive a monthly stipend to provide services within their home. These Providers allow individuals with developmental disabilities to become part of the family unit and teach the individual about community inclusion and independent living skills.
Family Care Providers require and receive mandatory annual trainings, in order to ensure that individuals are receiving the highest quality of service. Family Care Providers are a part of a support team for the individual consisting of Agency Staff, Nurses, Service Coordinators, and Agency Administrators.
Anyone interested in living in a licensed Arc of Yates Family Care Home must have a documented developmental disability and be enrolled in the OMRDD Medicaid Waiver.
