At Home Residential Habilitation

At Home Residential Habilitation (AHRH) is a service provided in the community or in an individual’s home which assists an individual with a developmental disability to develop or enhance existing living skills. At Home Residential Habilitation aids individuals in developing skills necessary to assist them to live in the community independently.

All enrolled individuals participate in the development and implementation of their service plan. This plan is designed to center on their strengths, needs, and choices in order to promote independence, individualization, inclusion, and productivity. Common areas of focus include financial management, housekeeping, health care, nutrition, personal hygiene, self care, and lifetime experiences.

Enrollees receive one-on-one services from a qualified staff. This staff provides services to meet the needs of the individual while taking into account the individual’s lifestyle and commitments.
